Hailing from Finland, classic rockers The Milestones are kicking out an audacious slice of southern inspired hard rock that shames countless American acts.  We caught up with the band to discuss their third album 'Devil In Me' as well as the bands history and future.

DREYELANDS

Having releases a truly cracking debut album in 'Rooms Of Revelation', melodic progressive metallers Dreyelands are picking up a major buzz on the scene.  We caught up with guitarist András Ádám Horváth to discuss the new album and more.

Despite going for one of the longest album titles this year, Scandinavian progressive metal newcomers Mindsplit have devised a debut album of immense beauty and one that reeks of quality from start to finish.

The album title really is a good indication of the music on this CD. You’re whisked back to the Strip and the days of hairspray, spandex and colourful guitars. Think Winger rather than Guns n Roses though, Firehouse rather than LA Guns. The production follows suit and is lively and crisp.  Sancho delves in.

Atmospheres is the latest and definitely the greatest from the Arizona based bottom end behemoth. Many of you will best remember Ray as the bass player in the Halford band. That is the last time that will be mentioned here because this album aligns far more with the gods of fusion bass than with any metal god.

PANGEA

For such a small country Denmark has produced a fine collection of rock and metal acts. One band that looked to be about to break into the countries metal elite in the mid 90's was Pangea. Led by vocalist/guitarist Torben Lysholm the band produced two well received albums of hard rock with wow guitar, then the band went through a torrent of problems before calling it quits. The band reformed to complete their long thought lost third album and are now ready to go at it again with their excellent new album "Retrospectacular" out now on Lion Music.

One of the best hard rock bands from the 80's have been keeping the deal real on the live circuit the last few years and we now get the highly anticipated new studio album 'Facemelter'.  We caught up with two of the band to discuss the bands rejuvenation and the new album...plus much more.
